I'm back....

Ok it's been nice, a little less stressful.
But on the other hand I have short term memory loss.
If I don't do it then, right it down, right that minute, it's long gone!
So this post will be completely random, of things that have been going on, and continuing my "thankful list"

Since I'm feeling sad, relieved, confused, etc I am going to start by saying a few things I am thankful for in the hopes that it changes my attitude.
Lately I am extremely thankful for SWEET SURPRISES.
I'm talking the kind that completely catch you off guard when you see someone in a place you haven't seen them in over a year.  It was awesome!  I couldn't believe what I was seeing. It felt peacefully. It's been a long road and will always be, that's part of life.  But I love it when Heavenly Father answers your prayers.

To not get to boring here are some other things I'm thankful for.
STAYING IN MY UGGS ALL DAY
PUMPKIN BREAD
MY SEXY HUBBY (I will post more about him later, he deserves more than a one liner)
15 MINUTES MOMMY TIME OUTS!
CLEANING OUT OLD DRAWERS AND FEELING LIKE YOU ACCOMPLISHED SOMETHING THAT DAY!
MUSIC THAT MAKES YOU WANNA DANCE
MY HOT STEAMY SHOWERS THAT MAKE ME LOOK LIKE A CHERRY TOMATO.
MY SWEET FRIENDS
LITTLE JOBS HERE AND THERE SO YOU CAN HAVE A SMALL CHRISTMAS
MY MOM'S COOKING, SHES MAKES A MEAN GRAVY!
THAT MY KISSES CAN STILL HEAL OLIVIA'S BO BOO'S!

Things are really bittersweet right now.  We have sold our house!  I should be happy, I'm not.
I am relieved and grateful yes that we sold it so fast and feel very lucky about that.
I know this is what is best for our little family right now, as hard as it is.
I know this all to well, we all do, but life hands you things in that you just have to make work.
You do your best and move forward.
As much as I am trying to remain positive about this, I still can be sad right?
I have cried everyday just thinking about that my days and nights are limited to few of spending time together as a family in our home.
And it's the real kicker when your buyers walk through and call it their home!
No this was a dream to us.
We put our hearts and souls into this, literally.
It breaks my heart to think of the dear friends we won't see on a regular basis anymore.
It breaks my heart that I have worked out here for 10 years and saw this City grow from nothing.
I love this place! I love this community.
I love my friends.
I love watching Olivia book it for Jess an Stan's house!
Oh how I will miss her!  And I can guarantee Olivia will!

Again I know this is what is best for our family. I love new adventures, I do.
I just need to remind myself of this.
Today this thought came to my mind.
It's not where you make a home,
It's how you make a home!

Give Thanks #5

Give Thanks #5

Today was a sweet reminder of how kind people actually can be.
Not rude or judgemental.
Not inappropriate or immature.
Actually sweet.
Today we received an anonymous note, with kind words!
My heart skipped a beat.
How nice!
I know there are a lot of nice people out there, but the fact that someone took the time to do this meant so much.
So thank you Miss Anonymous!
It meant a great deal.
It was a great reminder of how it really is the simple things that mean a lot.
How I can be more kind and alert of who may need a sweet note.
How I am thankful that someone cared enough.
How I can pay it forward it.

So today I'm thankful for True Friends.
Friends who care.
Friends who don't judge.
Friends who you can trust.
Friends who love you for who you are.
Friends who you can be yourself around, even the nasty self!
Friends who will stick up for you when your not around.
Friends who make you laugh.
Friends who just get you.
I am thankful for all the friends we have.
We've all heard the saying "You realize who your real friend are when you go through something difficult"
I have truly learned this.
I am looking forward to making new friends as well.
I love meeting people and connecting with them.
I believe it's a matter of perspective and how you treat people that matters.
I know I am not the greatest friend and have treated people poorly, but it's something I am consciously aware of and continue to try and improve on.
I count it up as another lesson learned.
When you are treated good or bad by someone, you learn something from it and move forward.

Thankful #3 & #4

Oh boy this challenge of mine is really testing me. Sad but true. Don't get me wrong I know I have plenty to be thankful for, but it's funny how you put things into perspective when you take the time to really acknowledge them.  Well this challenge to find things of gratitude is testing me, making me really think.
It's stupid I know. I'm even behind so it's time to play catch up!!

I am thankful for the END OF THE DAY some days!! Those moments when somehow the crap of the day seems to be put to bed with everything else.
When after just being literally peed on, while having one of those mom moments when you think "ok I can be a good mom, kind of.
Liv and I were reading books before bedtime and all of a sudden I feel a warm sensation on my back!! What the heck?  She's peeing, on the couch.
Keep in mind this is literally the 5th time today she has peed in random locations.
WHEW!
This is the moment I'm thankful for, is when I go and sit by her in bed to try and get her to finally fall asleep and she is tickling my arms, full of random kisses, and talking to her Woody doll!
At the end of the day, it's worth it. At the end of the day, I really am grateful for all the craziness, although I could do without the pee on my back.
At the end of the day I'm thankful for what I've tried to learn that day.
At the end of the day I'm thankful for being taught another lesson and having my patience tested once more, while failing miserably, I think tomorrow's another day.

I am also thankful today for this gorgeous fall weather we are having.
I continue to think everyday that I have months and months of cold crap ahead. It can be beautiful however.
But I was thankful today that I could go to the park today and be comfortable!
I'm loving it!
It's making me realize how excited I am for St. George weather.
I have always loved the seasons and the transitions that come with them.
But I'm pretty sure I could get used to 75 degrees as well!
So here's to another beautiful day. I think we're going to take a walk today.
Don't be fooled I walk to the gas station to get a Diet Coke.
