On to my Monday Makeover. When I saw this I new I wanted to create the same thing. However sometimes I wonder about my creative abilities since the letters on the banner randomly fall off, which actually makes it a fun game to make new words like sooky, or spooy. So I guess I'd better reconstruct it before it all goes to pot.

Monday Makeover - Halloween Addition
I LOVE HALLOWEEN! It's my favorite, even more than Christmas and Flag day put together! When else do you get the permission to dress up like a fool and walk around to all your closest neighbors and friends. I think there should be a Halloween once a month, so then it's not as difficult to decide if you're going to dress up as a Fire Hydrant or a Lego this month because you always have next month.

Monday Makeover
Casey has never liked our living room pillows from the day I bought them. Funny though, he always uses them....So in a weak moment of impulse shopping I decided to change up the pillows and try something new. I'm tired of my living/kitchen area and have many changes in mind so stay tuned. I found this tutorial here Cluck Cluck Sew and fell in love. My mind is just stirring with ideas for Christmas, Halloween, and neighbor gifts.
Would anyone be interested if we had a sewing party like once a month at my house so we can get together and sew some of these projects? Let me know if you are and we can put something together.
So here is the before. They aren't that bad to start off with, but I needed some texture and pattern added to the room.
And here is the after. I know really girly right, but dont' worry I have more plans to try an balance out the frilly froo froo (that's my family's saying for girly girly)

Here is another pillow I had.
Then we went to Swiss Days this past weekend and a very cute booth had this idea. However they wanted $30 buckaroos for this exact type of pillow idea. But they didn't have the ric rac or the bow. It's one of those things you say "I can try and do that". It was EASY AS PIE!!
