I'm so glad when Daddy comes home

Last week Daddy went on a Man's Vaca to Arizona with two of my brothers and saw some Spring Training games.  I was so excited when he got home to hear all the juicy gossip (not really) mostly just to hear what fun they had and what they did. And like a typical guy, his response was "Um not much really, we had a great time".

I think know that there is more to the story than that but oh well.  When he says "I mean really it was a perfect guys trip - Baseball, Food, NCAA tournament, & Golf" I guess I get it. It does sound pretty amazing. My only question is .......whens my VACATION???? 

I was glad he got to go, he needed a break. He works so hard for our family and he deserved it.  It was a little traumatic for Liv when she saw Daddy load in his golf clubs in Uncle Ryan's car with a suitcase.  She is having some separation issues.  It was a long 5 days and we were pleased as punch to see him come home.

This is my man. My hubby. My best friend and I'm proud of it!!
I don't write about him enough, maybe it's because he's very private and I don't want to share anything that he would be embarrassed about but today I don't care. To quote a line from one of our favorite movies Elf  "oh Daddy, I'm in love. I'm in love and I don't care who knows it" 

Here are just a FEW things that I love about you babe! 
You remember dates and details like no one else, which always gets me into trouble cause I am not sentimental like that.
Your an AMAZING father, sometimes to good it makes me feel bad.
You can always turn something, anything, I don't care what it is into something funny.
Your sexier today than the first day I met you.
I love that the only time you ever get angry is when your driving and a seriously stupid driver deserves a good cuss word (on the rare occasion that that even happens, and when it does it catches me by surprise and I laugh).
Your a hard worker and will do anything for our family.
I love that even in the middle of the summer you still sleep with 4 blankets on you.
Your willing to learn new things, but not be sucked into something you don't want to do. You're definitely a leader not a follower.

Your middle finger, yes the bird, is just down right humorous it's so blasted long. I think we should look into the genus book of world records.
I love that we still after 12 years still have two different versions of the way we met.
You not only take care of me as your wife, but you are always looking after our moms, grandma's, sisters and sisters in laws.
You have since the day we met, ALWAYS opened the door for me.
You love me even though I have only tickled your back 4 times our entire marriage.
You an excellent cook and make a mean spaghetti.
Your a true gentlemen.

I love you babe more and more each day and just wanted you to know that.

#2 - a father who loves to hang with his daughter and make her laugh

I'm mostly sad that I missed out on all the action while I was at work.
Sure do love these two crazies!!
