This is our world these days!
We were supposed to be out of our house last Saturday until we received a phone call 2 days before saying we were not moving, at least until the end of the month, on my birthday!
Happy Birthday to me!
Birthdays are overrated anyways.
Back to the move...
Funny thing is I had literally taken down our Christmas Tree 2 hours before I received the call.
I had waited until the very last minute to take that sucker down.
It's one of those old school trees that you put together row by row, letter by letter.
I love it though, it's so pretty and big.
Well as it turns out there was some confusion with the closing documents so our buyers are changing loans and it will take a couple weeks to get it all completed.
I am happy though, it means we get to spend Christmas together here one last time.
It continues to be bittersweet however, I keep learning more and more about the women I live near and I just adore them. There are so many amazing women and I know there are so many more that I never really got to get to know.
So we get to live with boxes.
I continue to use the same mixing bowl that I have since everything else is packed up.
And we live with what we have since a lot of our stuff was already moved out.
Olivia is going crazy because all her toys are at Grandma's house.
So we are getting creative.
Not to mention that Christmas is around the corner and I'm trying to get ready for that.
Do you think the family would mind if there presents are made of duct tape and bubble wrap?
